5 Tips to Vegetarian-ize a Main Dish Recipe

1. Replace chicken broth with vegetable broth.


  • Often a recipe is so close to being vegetarian already, that all you’ll need to do modify the broth choice.
2. Substitute the meat portion of the dish with tofu, egg, or cheese.
